It is such a blessing to have rainbow lorikeets living in the area. There is even a small handful that like to hang out in the tree that grows over my property. I would like to do more to attract these birds into my yard. Perhaps I could buy some parrot food on the next shopping trip.
The colours are just beautiful although when they are flying around in big numbers at sunset they are often crazy and soooo noisy..........sound like they are having a blast!!
ReplyDeleteVery Aussie though,and great to have wildlife in your yard, none of that going on in my Paris apartment a couple of pooping pigeons on the window sill if I am lucky haha!
